Take Control of Your Vocabulary Learning with Custom Reviews

At Mem-App, we’re always working to make learning easy and effective. We’ve added a new feature to give you more control over your reviews:

Start Custom Review Sessions Anytime

Now, you can choose specific words from your vocabulary list to start a review session whenever it suits you. This is helpful if you have a few free minutes or if you know you’ll be too busy to review on the scheduled day.

Our Recommendation for Choosing Words

Picking from due words?: Focus on words with lower ranks first. These are not as well learned yet and need more frequent review to strengthen your memory.
Pcking from non-due words?: Choose higher-ranked words. These already have a wider gap between reviews, so shortening that gap won’t have as much of an impact. For words with shorter gaps, even a small change could make reviews less effective.

Understanding Word Ranks

Word ranks in Mem-App reflect how many times you’ve remembered a word in a row during reviews. The higher the rank, the longer the gap before the word is due again. If you forget a word during a review, the rank resets to 2, ensuring you focus more on it until it becomes stronger in your memory.
